ECMPA stands as an association, striving to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency across the entire dairy value chain.

Who we are?

This is an association of practicing dairy farmers producing for the milk market. The association was formed on October 15, 2015. In response to a requirement in a new government policy, the association was re-registered under the name EthioBright Ethiopian Commercial Milk Producers Association.

Mission

To enable the farmer to produce high volume, excellent quality and affordable milk.

Vision

To see a thriving milk production system in the country.

Objectives

To address government proclamations, policies and directives.
To build farmer capacity in knowledge, skills and appropriate technology.
To link the farmer with affordable and reliable input and service providers.
To create peer to peer, farmer to stakeholders, farmer to regional and international platforms; and to create networks.

Association Structure

The Ethiopian Commercial Milk-Producers Association is a member based society. The general assembly is the supreme body. A board of 5 to 7 members are elected by the general assembly to direct and guide the secretariat. Association members come from almost all regions in the country. Member recruitment is ongoing on continual basis.
