With the financial support of GIZ/GFA, public-private dialogue on feed as major roadblock to commercial milk production in Ethiopia has been conducted on March 12, 2024 at Radisson Blu Hotel, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in which a total of 57 participants drawn from public and private institutions have participated. In the dialogue strategic interventions for enhancing feed availability, feed accessibility, feed quality and safety have been identified as a priority course of action to boost the country’s milk production and contribute to the Ethiopian Food System Transformation. The ECMPA is very much grateful for the financial/ technical assistance of the GFA in supporting the field based study/review and the dialogue with key stakeholders. Additionally policy dialogue skill training for public sector partners and Associations has also been conducted on July 4-5 at Bishoftu with financial support of GFA. The COE of the ECMPA was one of the participants of the workshop and we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the GFA.
